LaGrange is the shop, not just the service area.
Pro Trades & Services has been headquartered in LaGrange since 2019. Most of our crew lives within ten minutes of downtown. We know the houses on Broad, the lake homes on West Point, and the inspector at the county.

Six years on the ground in Troup County.
Completed inside the city limits since 2019.

No. 02 · Where we work in town
Familiar streets, familiar housing stock.
Neighborhoods we are in regularly
- Hills & Dales
- Country Club
- Broad Street
- Vernon Heights
- Granger
- Long Cane
- Whitesville Road
- Highland Country Club
Plus the lake
We do a lot of work on West Point Lake homes, especially the docks-and-deck side. Lake water is hard on framing and finishes. We have learned the difference between something that survives a season and something that survives a decade.
No. 03 · What we do here
Six categories of LaGrange work.
-
01
Historic home renovations
Plaster repair, original window restoration, period correct trim, tongue and groove ceilings. We respect what is already there before we touch it.
More -
02
Brick ranch updates
Vernon Heights, Country Club, Granger. Open up the kitchen, blow out a wall, add a primary suite. The Lagrange housing stock is excellent bones, just dated finishes.

03
Lake home work
Decks, docks, screened porches, kitchen and bath remodels for the lake crowd. Materials chosen for humidity and UV exposure, not just looks.
More -
04
Downtown commercial
Tenant buildouts on the square. We have done five storefronts in the last two years, including two that opened on schedule for spring season.
More -
05
New construction
Custom homes on lots out toward Whitesville Road and Long Cane. We work with several local lot owners and architects.

06
Roof, siding, drywall
The fundamentals. Drywall is where we started (Murdock Drywall, 2010) and we still do it better than anyone in the county.

My grandfather built our house on Broad in the fifties. Tommy and his crew touched plaster like they grew up with it, because they did. The kitchen looks new. The house still looks ours.

No. 05 · LaGrange FAQ
Local questions, local answers.
Do you handle Troup County permits?
Yes. We pull every permit we touch in your name through the Troup County or City of LaGrange office, schedule the inspector, and meet them on site. You see one number on your invoice.
Can you work in the historic district?
Yes. The Hills & Dales and Broad Street districts have specific architectural review on exterior changes. We have walked owners through that process several times. We will tell you what is realistic before you fall in love with a render.
Do you do small jobs in town?
Yes. Drywall patches, door hangs, deck repair, single room paint. We pick up small LaGrange jobs between larger ones, usually within the week.
How fast can you start?
Walkthrough within the week, written estimate within twenty four hours after that. Start date depends on the size of the job and what is already on the calendar. We are honest about it, no fake urgency.
Lake homes, do you do dock work?
Yes. Decks, dock framing, lakeside screened additions. We coordinate with the lake authority on permits where required and we know how to spec materials for the moisture.
